Pakistan's pacers Naseem Shah, Haris Rauf are back on the field after a lengthy break. The duo has been in a hiatus from the national side for about two years now but have now resumed their duties for Pakistan. Since then, both pacers have been on a break from cricket due to personal reasons. However, they are now ready to make a comeback and will be available for selection for Pakistan's upcoming Test series against South Africa.


This is good news for Pakistan as they look to rebuild their bowling attack following the retirement of Mohammad Amir. Naseem and Haris will add much-needed depth to the squad and will give the team a chance to compete against some of the best teams in the world.


Shah to play for Punjab in domestic tournaments

Both players last played cricket in February 2020 during Pakistan's home series against Bangladesh. Shah was part of the Test squad while Rauf was included in the T20I squad.
