The England Cricket Board have named Jos Buttler as captain for the Twenty20 International (T20I) series against Pakistan in October. He will take over from Eoin Morgan with England’s white-ball skipper due to miss the tour of United Arab Emirates and India due to the early stages of his second child.

New Captain for England

The England cricket team has announced that Joe Root will be their new captain for the upcoming Test series against Pakistan. Root takes over from Alastair Cook, who stepped down as captain after England’s recent Ashes defeat to Australia.

Root is one of England’s most experienced and successful batsmen, and he is currently ranked as the number two Test batsman in the world. He has been a regular member of the England Test team since his debut in 2012, and he has played in all three of England’s most recent Ashes series.

Root is widely respected within the cricket community, and he is seen as a natural leader. He will be tasked with leading England’s  rebuilding process after their disappointing Ashes performance.

Root will be the first Yorkshireman to captain England in Test cricket since Michael Vaughan in 2003. He will take over the captaincy for England’s first Test against Pakistan, which starts on May 24th.

Joe Root to lead England in next series

Joe Root has been named as the new captain of England for their upcoming tour of Pakistan. Root is taking over the captaincy from Alastair Cook, who stepped down after England’s recent Test series against India.

Root is a very experienced player, having played in 86 Test matches for England. He is also the current vice-captain of the team. Root has been a regular member of the England team since he made his debut in 2012.

Root will be leading England for the first time in his career. He will be hoping to lead the team to a successful series against Pakistan.

Root is the youngest ever England captain

Root is the youngest ever England captain at 26 years old. He was appointed to the role after England’s Test series victory against Pakistan. Root has played 48 Test matches for England, scoring 4,594 runs. He has also captained England in one Test match, against Sri Lanka in 2016.

Root will lead England’s Test team in their upcoming tour of Pakistan. The tour will consist of two Test matches, which will be played in Abu Dhabi and Dubai. This will be the first time that England have toured Pakistan since 2005.

Root is a experienced batsman and an excellent leader. He will be a great captain for England on their forthcoming tour of Pakistan.

England to tour Pakistan, first time since 2010

The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has announced that Joe Root will be the captain of the England cricket team for their upcoming Test series against Pakistan.

This will be Root’s first time captaining England in a Test series, as he takes over from Alastair Cook, who stepped down from the role after England’s Ashes defeat to Australia.

Root has been in excellent form for Yorkshire in the County Championship this season, scoring 977 runs at an average of 97.70. He will be looking to lead England to a series victory against Pakistan, who are currently ranked number one in the world in Test cricket.

England last toured Pakistan back in 2010, when they played three Test matches. The series was drawn 1-1, with England winning the first Test by an innings and 225 runs, and Pakistan winning the second Test by ten wickets. The third Test ended in a draw.

How will new skipper Eoin Morgan fare?

Eoin Morgan has been named England's new captain for their upcoming Test series against Pakistan.

This will be Morgan's first time leading the team in a Test series, and it will be interesting to see how he fares.

Pakistan is a tough team to play against, especially in their home country. They have a lot of experienced players, and they are very difficult to beat.

Morgan will have to be at his best if England are going to win the series. He is a very good captain, and he has the ability to get the best out of his team. If he can do that, then England have a good chance of winning the series.

How will Alastair Cook do as captain?

1. Alastair Cook will do well as captain because he is a experienced leader.

2. He has been captain of the England Test team since 2010.

3. He has a lot of experience leading the team in difficult situations.

4. He is also a very good batsman, so he will be able to lead by example on the field.

5. Overall, I think Alastair Cook will be a great captain for England during the Pakistan tour.
