Pakistan has been on a winning streak in this year's Asia Cup as they have already taken down Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. They will be playing against India tomorrow and former Pakistan pacer Akhtar Mahmood wants to know if he can play for the team.

Introduction:

Former Pakistan pacer Shoaib Akhtar has made a cheeky request to the team ahead of their Asia Cup clash against India. In a video posted on his YouTube channel, Akhtar said that the Pakistan team should wear black armbands in the match as a mark of respect for the 'martyrs' of the Pulwama terror attack. He also urged the team to dedicate the win to the soldiers killed in the attack.

Akhtar's comments come amidst growing tensions between India and Pakistan following the Pulwama terror attack carried out by Pakistan-based terrorist group Jaish-e-Mohammed. The attack claimed the lives of 40 CRPF personnel and has led to a sharp deterioration in relations between the two countries.

Pakistan is scheduled to play India in the Asia Cup on March 19th. There is no word yet on whether Akhtar's request will be accepted by the team management but it is sure to add fuel to the already fiery rivalry between these two Asian giants.

The past week has seen far too much happening on the field of cricket, and therefore we request for some good old fashioned entertainment off it-with a touch of spice!

What we would like to see is the Pakistan team, especially the new boys, take on India in a cheeky competition. The winner gets to take home the Asia Cup!

Now, this may not be possible given the current political situation between the two countries, but it is something that we can all dream about!

As the Men in Green get ready to take on their arch-rivals, India, in the much-anticipated Asia Cup clash, we caught up with former Pakistan pacer, Shoaib Akhtar, who had a cheeky request for the team.

While Akhtar was all praise for the current lot of players, he believes that they need to be more expressive on the field and take a leaf out of the book of the Indian cricket team.

"I think our boys need to be a little more expressive. They should take a leaf out of Virat Kohli and company's book. They should show some aggression and intent. That's what gets the crowds going," said Akhtar.

The 'Rawalpindi Express' also had a piece of advice for skipper Sarfaraz Ahmed and suggested that he must back his players to the hilt.

"Sarfaraz should back his players no matter what. He should have faith in them and their abilities. The boys need someone to back them, especially in tough situations," he added.

Akhtar's comments come in the wake of Pakistan's disappointing performance in

What did he say?

"Former Pakistan pacer Shoaib Akhtar has urged the team to 'stay calm and relaxed' ahead of their high-stakes Asia Cup clash against India on Sunday.

In a cheeky video posted on his YouTube channel, Akhtar said the current Pakistan team was a 'bit tense' and needed to take some pressure off themselves.

'I want to tell the boys to just stay calm and relaxed. You're a bit tense, I can see it in your faces. Just enjoy yourselves, play some good cricket and the results will come,' he said.

Akhtar also had a special message for Pakistan skipper Sarfaraz Ahmed, saying: 'Sarfaraz bhai, you're doing a great job but just enjoy yourself a little bit more. And try not to sledging too much. Let's keep our cricket clean.'

The former fast bowler's comments come ahead of what is being billed as the most anticipated match of the Asia Cup, with both teams unbeaten in the tournament so far.

Pakistan have beaten Hong Kong and arch-rivals Afghanistan in their two matches so far, while India have registered comfortable wins over Bangladesh and Hong Kong."

Hairstyle requests from bowlers

When it comes to the Pakistan cricket team, there is always one player who stands out with his unique hairstyle. This time, it is former pacer Sohail Tanvir who has made a cheeky request to the team ahead of their Asia Cup clash against India.

Tanvir took to Twitter to share a picture of himself with his new hairstyle and requested the team's bowling coach Azhar Mahmood to let him bowl with this hairstyle in the match.

"@AzharMahmood44 bhai please allow me to bowl with this hairstyle in tomorrow's match. It will be very effective against Indian batsmen," Tanvir tweeted.

The left-armer was not included in Pakistan's Asia Cup squad but he is currently in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) as he is part of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) broadcast team.

It remains to be seen if Tanvir'srequest will be granted but it would certainly be interesting to see him bowl with this new hairstyle!

Conclusion:

The Pakistan cricket team is all set to take on India in the Asia Cup clash and former pacer Shoaib Akhtar has made a cheeky request to the team. He has urged the team to give their best and make sure that they don't get beaten by a big margin. Akhtar also said that he is confident that Pakistan will win the match and lift the Asia Cup trophy.
