India's recent victory against Afghanistan

India's recent victory against Afghanistan was a much-needed boost for the team. After a string of losses, the team needed to win to keep their hopes alive in the Asia Cup. The win also helped to build confidence amongst the players.

Shahnawaz Dahani, Haris Rauf, and Naseem Shah were rested for today's match against Pakistan. All three players have been in good form and the team management wants them to be fresh for the upcoming matches.

The decision to rest the three players was a shrewd move by the team management. It will help the players to stay fresh and be in good form for the remainder of the tournament.

Pakistan's Path to the Finals

Pakistan's path to the finals has been nothing short of impressive. They started off their journey with a win against Hong Kong. This was followed by victories against arch-rivals India and Bangladesh. They then beat Sri Lanka in the semi-finals to set up a final clash with Afghanistan.

Pakistan's performance in the Asia Cup has been boosted by some outstanding individual performances. Shahnawaz Dahani has been the stand-out performer for Pakistan, scoring crucial runs in all of their matches. Haris Rauf has also been in excellent form, taking wickets at critical moments in the tournament. Naseem Shah has also been impressive, bowling with pace and accuracy.

Today's match against Afghanistan will be a tough test for Pakistan. However, if they can reproduce the form they have shown throughout the tournament, they will be confident of winning the Asia Cup for the first time since 2012.

Pakistan VS South Korea

Pakistan will face South Korea in their second match of the Asia Cup today.

Pakistan lost their first match against India by a margin of nine wickets. After winning the toss and electing to bat first, Pakistan were all out for just 162 runs. India chased down the target with ease, losing just one wicket in the process.

Pakistan will be looking to bounce back from that defeat today against South Korea. They will be boosted by the return of Babar Azam, who missed the India match due to injury. Azam is one of Pakistan's best batsmen and his inclusion will strengthen their batting lineup.

Pakistan will also be hoping that their bowlers can improve on their performance from the India match. In particular, they will need to find a way to stop Rohit Sharma, who scored a century in India's chase. If they can do that, then they have a good chance of winning today's match.
